The Day After

Toady is December 26  and the hussel and bussel  is over till next year. I am cleaning up from yesterdays celebrations. It is over in a flash. I was so busy I forgot to get pictures.
 I had to reset part of the table to savor the day. I think I will start the New Year by finishing some Christmas projects.

Columbina Cloth Doll

Early Columbian doll made by Emma Adams, marked Columbian Doll Emma E. Adams Oswego Center N.Y. She is 29 inches tall and very sweet. I've washed her clothes and I made her a new pinafore, the apron is made from fabric from the original Columbian Fair in 1892 -1893 Chicago. I've had that in my stash for a long time waiting to be used.

The Mulberry Room

We just finished painting this room Mulberry, those dark colors are hard to paint. My husband made the shelf, clothes hangers and quilt rack that slips on the pegs.
